About Susannah Wesley Community Center

For more than 125 years, Susannah Wesley Community Center (SWCC) has been a beacon of hope in Kalihi, serving one of Honolulu’s most diverse and vibrant communities. Each year, we deliver human service programs to more than 5,000 unduplicated individuals, opening doors to opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach due to language, cultural, or economic barriers.

Our clients represent the many faces of Hawai‘i — including immigrants and families from the Philippines, Samoa, Korea, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, and Micronesia. Together, they make SWCC a place where cultures meet, thrive, and grow.

Our campus spans 70,000 square feet with 18,000 square feet under roofi. Each year, more than 10,000 individuals walk through our doors seeking support, connection, and community.

We are powered by a dedicated team of 12 employees and an active group of volunteers, working side by side to strengthen families and uplift our community. Our main center is located at 1117 Kaili Street in Kalihi, with a satellite site at The Towers at Kuhio Park, for residents, ensuring that vital resources are within reach for those who need them most.

Dynamic, adaptable, and deeply rooted in community, SWCC continues to evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of our neighbors — carrying forward a legacy of compassion, resilience, and service that has endured for more than a century.
