Distance Learning

In partnership with Farrington Community School for Adults (FCSA) and McKinley Community School for Adults (MCSA), Susannah Wesley Community Center hosts both the Workforce Development Diploma (WDD) and the General Education Development (GED) programs.

Our Distance Learning Program offers the flexibility of virtual learning, supported by experienced tutors who guide students through coursework and skill development. The program equips learners with the academic foundation and life skills needed to succeed in the workforce and beyond.

Program Highlights

  • Virtual Distance Learning: Coursework is completed online, with tutors available to provide personalized support.

  • Mandatory In-Class Sessions for Minors: Students under 18 are required to attend in-person sessions to ensure accountability and support.

  • Life Skills Group: Focuses on career readiness, including goal setting, resume building, interview preparation, computer literacy, and financial literacy.

  • Case Management Support: Available for youth ages 16–21, providing individualized guidance, resources, and encouragement.

  • Affordable Access: Program fee is just $20 per 13-week session, payable before the session begins.
