Over 15,000 pounds of food was distributed to over 2,872 individuals from January 1 to June 30, 2015. On average over 3,150 pounds of food are distributed to an average of 605 individuals per month. Susannah Wesley Community Center’s Emergency Food Pantry operates four days per week, on site an at an additional operation at the Terraces at Kuhio Park.
Funding for the Emergency Food Pantry is due to support from the Aloha United Way and the Hawaii FoodBank. The Emergency Food Pantry also receives donations from Aloha Harvest, United Methodist Church congregations, United Methodist Women, community clubs and organizations, as well as individual donors.
We are grateful for the continued support of our community to ensure no one is hungry. You can help by donating canned protein or vegetables, rice, or ziploc bags.
The Emergency Food Pantry is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 pm to 3 pm.
