Department: Youth and Family Services
Case Manager I (FT):
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Case Manager I provides general case management services for vulnerable children, adolescents, and their families to improve quality of life and maintain highest possible ability to function within the community.
The Case Manager I is expected to work within the program and policy directives of the Susannah Wesley Community Center. The position is also guided by the job description, code of ethics, agency and program policies and procedures, applicable state and federal laws, and the standards and requirements of pertinent professional organizations and disciplines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and 6 months relevant experience.
Additional Requirements:
Clearance/Certification: 1) Criminal Background Check; 2) Child Protective Service/Adult Protective Service check; 3) Valid Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required.

Development Specialist:
Position Overview:
Seeking a highly motivated, organized, team-focused individual with the capacity and competency to develop relationships with vulnerable students and families in the Kalihi community, provide family stabilization and strengthening services, and plan and implement out-of-school time enrichment activities.
Requires a high level of compassion, understanding of the service population, discretion, and professionalism.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or A.A. degree with demonstrated knowledge of the targeted service population or high school diploma/GED and two (2) years of related experience.
Additional Requirements: Clearance/Certification: 1) Criminal Background Check; 2) Child Protective Service/Adult Protective Service check; and 3) Valid Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required. Must be able to work in various locations with special entry requirements, including but not limited to vaccination requirements.

Department: Trafficking Victim Assistance
Program Assistant:
Position Overview: The Program Assistant coordinates client referral and intake procedures; assists with program planning and scheduling; manages the unit’s client data management system; prepares and analyzes data reports; assists with the coordination and implementation of training presentations; and is also responsible for ongoing administrative support and oversight of office functions. Due to the nature of the responsibilities, this position requires flexibility, versatility, and excellent communication skills. Initiative, good judgment and attention to detail are essential for performing assigned tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, business, or a related field from an accredited institution;
- Minimum of 2 year’s program support experience;
- Experience with government, non-profit/private, and/or business grant reporting
- Clearance/Certification: 1.) Criminal Background Check 2.) Child Protective Service/Adult Protective Service check;
Valid Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required.
