Distance Learning Programs

In coordination with Farrington Community School for Adults (FCSA) and McKinley Community School for Adults (MCSA), SWCC is a site for Workforce Development Diploma (WDD) and General Education Development (GED).

The Distance Learning program prepares students to be career and workforce ready by mastering key skill areas sought out by today’s employers. Key skills emphasized in the Life Skills Group are those necessary to secure a job and ensure individual success.
Students will set career goals, build professional resumes, prepare for the interview
process, increase their computer literacy skills, and develop their financial literacy
skills.

Case management is provided to students ages 16-21 years old. Our case managers
are dedicated to helping and empowering youth.

Life Skills Group is held on Mondays 12:00pm – 2:00pm

Distance Learning Class Hours are on Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30am – 2:00pm

Cost is $20.00 for 13-weeks sessions. Registration fees are due before student starts each session.

There is no fee for case management and other supporting services.

Why I love Susie…

Every child needs to feel protected, nurtured and loved, but not every youth has this. The Juvenile Assessment Center provides youth with a second chance and an opportunity to become stellar members of society.
