A Guide for Hawaii’s Immigrant Youth

If you were born in another country, you’re just like one out of every five people in Hawai’i. Immigration can be a tough experience and almost everyone in the State, or their ancestors, has struggled to adapt to life in a new place. Luckily, you have this booklet, which will guide you through some of the confusing laws, resources, and benefits that might impact your life. We hope that this guide will also help you access medical care, education and job opportunities, and support when you need a place to turn for assistance.
