Vera is currently the Vice President for the Hawaii District United Methodist Women. She retired from the DOE after working for 25 years. She enjoys being a full-time grandma and providing Online Learning support for her older grandson. She enjoys sewing, line dancing, and tai chi. She has been happily married for 40 years and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. During her free time, she is an avid Hallmark Channel fan.
