Immigrant Resource Fair 10 AM to 3 PM
at the Susannah Wesley Community Center
DACA stands for “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.” DACA is permission from U.S. immigration officials to stay in the U.S. for two years. Susannah Wesley is a part of the hiDACA collaboration, working together to increase awareness and participation in the DACA program. Susannah Wesley’s history of supporting newcomers to the islands and work with limited English proficient individuals, is a natural fit to assist undocumented immigrants to attain their true potential and make even greater contributions to our community. Susannah Wesley serves as a community connector and as a social service resource, assisting applicants with obtaining key documentation and records for the application process. We also help to provide referrals to legal assistance.
For more information, please visit the hiDACA website. The hiDACA project has been made possible by the DREAM fund of the Hawaii Community Foundation. The goal of the project is to increase awareness of and participation in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The following organizations/programs are participating in the hiDACA program: Susannah Wesley Community Center, Aloha DREAM Team, Hawaii Appleseed Center for Law and Economic Justice, Pacific Gateway Center, Volunteer Legal Services Hawaii.
